i redesigned an indiana dunes national park guide to create a more engaging and cohesive visitor experience. i developed a structured visual system that highlights the park’s diverse ecosystems, wildlife, and history, while creating interactive activities that encourage visitors to explore and connect with the landscape.

the decisions

kept everything spare — a lot of empty space, one warm neutral, and a wordmark with a single distinctive detail so it reads at thumbnail size. designed the packaging first and the brand around it, because for skincare the bottle is the brand. chose calm over clinical; most of the category shouts, so quiet stood out.

halo sold through its first production run in six weeks and got picked up by two boutique stockists — both of whom said the packaging is what made them reach out.
